I know the answer! Pick me!! pick me!! Okay, now that I have been picked I will tell you: It's his Batgrapple, and it shoots the 'bat' on a rope up to a building overhang, like a gargoyle spout, and the rope wraps around it a few times so it can be swung on. Nobody knows how it gets untangled though. Ha ha. I used to work on the Batman Animated Cartoons at Warner Brothers from 1991 to 1993. I'm mentioned a lot in the art of Batman Animated book. This is why I know such useless information.
thanks Ted! you are a real specialist for the batgrapple!! the "bat" always seems just hanging in the sky~ hahai really want to see around the workplace of Cartoon Network, i love its cartoons very much!!!(especially Samurai Jack ^ ^)
I love your Blackat drawings!
Ha ha.. I also worked on Samurai Jack, but just the third season. That's a good looking series. Worked a little on Power Puff girls too.I'm not at CN anymore, I'm at WB animation now. You'd be surprised at how boring a cartoon studio is to look at inside. But the cartoonists are fun. -Ted
hihi Missy, i will try to draw more interesting things~
hi Ted, i thought CN=WB, it turns out i am wrong :( i guess all cartoonists are fun!! and, what project are you in?
Well, CN and WB animation are owned by the same people, but operate independently of each other. Currently I'm art directing on Scooby-Doo direct to DVDs, at WB.Where do you work?
oh i see... well, about me... i do nothing right now, just focusing on practising comics drawing skill because i am taking an one and a half year comics course at a night school of an university since last september. it will be the best if i can live on drawing!!
Well, learning to draw well is like learning to play a musical instrument well. -practice practice practice!
Aahh, the mystery of the Batgrapple is solved. I checked out the link to Lisk. Wow! What an inspiration. Lucky you to have such an inspirational book!
Ted: absolutely right! let me keep drawing!!!Bella: haha, i have to thank Ted once more about the batgrapple ^ ^. it is great you like Lisk's works
interesting:Dlookin forward to seeing more~~
thank you Olla! i have sketched a few more posts but need to buy a scanner first to complete digital inking & coloring -_-
Tango, you work is amazing. I am really humbled by your compliment on my blog.I feel your pain on the scanner front. Received a new one for Christmas that didn't work. I just got the replacement. Amazing how crippling it can be without the right equipment.
hihi Jen, i am a bit difference from you, i have never had my own scanner yet, suffering from choosing a right one >_<
